Thomas Schoeller M.A. is conservator and art historian with over thirty years of experience in
the field of conservation and restoration of old master paintings, sculptures and contemporary art as well
as in the coordination of complex projects. He established the Atelier Schoeller in 1986.
Rebekka Ebert-Schwarz studied at the Technical University Munich, Department of Restoration,
Conservation Science and Art Technology. After earning her degree (Diplom Conservator) she worked at
the Deutsches Museum and the Museum Villa Stuck in Munich. Since April 2014 she manages
the work shop of the Atelier Schoeller.
Our flexible team includes a number of freelance Diplom conservators working in
different fields such as paper and photography conservation, wood and furniture conservation as well
as metal, glass and porcelain conservation.

In preparation for a university or academy degree in conservation and
restoration, we offer interested
students regular traineeships of one and two years.
We are members of the professional associations: Verband der Restauratoren (VDR),
International Council of Museums (ICOM), International Institute of Conservation (IIC).
